Account Executive – Lead Response Team

Responsibilities:
As a member of Band Tech Team, you will work closely with the Regional Business Director and your fellow lead response team colleagues in Singapore and Beijing to qualify marketing-generated leads into sales opportunities for our market-leading, multinational virtualization client.
With a thorough understanding and interest in marketing, ideally in the technology industry, you will make outbound calls to our client’s prospects who have already expressed an interest in the company and its solutions. Therefore, while your role will be phone-based, it won’t entail doing cold calls or traditional telemarketing.
The successful applicant should understand how marketing partners with sales to generate revenue for the organization. If selected, you will be interacting with the most senior country marketing leads of our client and must be able to handle yourself professionally accordingly. You must also be able to understand the value propositions of various campaigns and events and how to translate that into a compelling discussion with our client’s target senior level IT executive prospects.
As you will be part of a larger integrated marketing agency, you’ll have the opportunity for exposure to the other elements of the marketing funnel from awareness to preference based on your initiative.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree and/or graduate degree in marketing
- Outbound phone-based experienced preferred
- Professional marketing experience in a multinational organization or agency preferred
- Polished persuasive skills and verbal and written eloquence to extract the required information from prospects over the phone
- Mature judgment and perceptiveness to understand someone’s interest level based solely on a phone conversation
- Self-motivated with excellent and versatile leadership skills
- At ease communicating and relationship building with senior executives
- Experience working with a diverse, international team and dealing with the cultural and communications implications
- Mastery of basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Background in business-to-business marketing is advantageous
- Knowledge of and interest in the technology industry and how sales are driven by marketing campaigns
- Able to read and write Bahasa Indonesia – to liaise with Indonesian speaking associates

- At least 4-5 years of relevant Project Management experience in digital advertising within an advertising / channel marketing/integrated marketing agency
- The ability and experience to liaise with clients, presenting and receiving feedback on projects
- The understanding on how to effectively resource against work levels
- Experience of working in (and preferably managing) a multi-disciplined team of individuals with the ability to motivate and encourage their development
- To be able to manage budgets and ensure the team works efficiently and effectively
- Significant experience working with technology clients
